I'll admit, my official tutoring experience is relatively sparse. I tutored/lectured briefly on the online community edufire. However, as a part of my college experience, I was required to compose powerpoints and lead the class in discussion with a lecture (spanning anywhere from five minutes to a few class sessions in length). And, lending itself to my writing experience, I was likewise required to compose several papers a semester of varying lengths (one to thirty pages), something which has honed my understanding of not only the English language in general, but also how to best use that language to write a successful paper. This has been strengthened by my rudimentary knowledge in Latin, French, and Japanese. I am familiar with study groups and also effective means for studying social sciences (history, art history, philosophy, psychology, etc) alone. In my college career, I have never failed a test - and your child doesn't have to either.

As it says above, my name is Kat. I'm twenty-four and I've lived in Baltimore my whole life. I travel annually, generally for three weeks to a month every summer. Thus far, I've been to Japan, Italy, and St. Lucia, and I intend to be in England by late August. I have a passion for history, languages, and foreign cultures, and I hope to impart this passion onto others with my teaching!
